The Annual Sunshine Coast Pro Am Golf Tournament, a fundraiser for junior golfers, started early one Friday morning without a hitch. Returning player and golfing veteran of 20 years, Robin Lott, began the course with his best buddies. Lott managed to hit a stroke of luck on this particularly dewy morning. Two days prior, he had turned in his company car and was on the hunt for a new vehicle. Instead of continuing his search, a new car managed to find him.
When the foursome arrived at hole three, they all took note of the difficult layout of their target. The pin was in fact tucked behind a bunker and not visible from the tee. Lott gave it his best shot, and while the ball was still in flight, his buddy called out, “that might have a chance!” In fact, the ball had a very good chance… as it rolled over the hill and out of sight, the spotters on the green started going crazy.
Lott had hit the hole in one, giving him bragging rights and a brand new car from South Coast Ford Sales in Sechelt, British Columbia. An hour following the big shot, Brad Copping, General Sales Manager of South Coast Ford Sales was already there to congratulate him. Within a few weeks, Robin took delivery of his new vehicle and has been enjoying it ever since.
When asked about his experience Lott said, “Hitting my first hole in one was just fabulous, and it was even better having all my buddies around me. South Coast Ford has been fabulous as well, and I have been recommending them like crazy because of how much I love my new vehicle!”

Lott told us that he has played in multiple tournaments since his big hole in one win, and that the word traveled fast throughout the community. He says he loves telling his story and that he will be returning to play in The Annual Sunshine Coast Pro Am Tournament again next year for another shot at a hole in one.
