Joshua Ballard is loving his brand-new Ford F-150 that he won at the Chiefs-Diamond Golf Tournament sponsored by Crain Ford Jacksonville of Arkansas!
The First Sergeant Council at the Little Rock Air Force Base has been organizing golf tournaments like this one for about 3 years.
Their goal is to provide help and assistance to military families so that when they deploy, they are not worried about any issues they have going on at home and can focus on their mission. Fundraisers like these golf tournaments help ensure The First Sergeant Council can keep doing the great work they do.
Joshua has played the Deer Run Golf Course in Jacksonville, Arkansas before, but this tournament marked his first hole in one win in his 15 years as a golfer. It was a bright and sunny day in October, and he and his playing partners Eric, Nathan, and William had a chance to swing at this fairly challenging 160-yard hole.
He also had a great experience working with the dealership that provided him with his new vehicle and says the people at Crain Ford Jacksonville went out of their way to help and answer any of the questions he might have had.
