Great Cause, Great Shot for a Golfer Who “Can’t Say No to a Round of Golf

The 8th Annual Teal Cup Golf Tournament was held at Western Turnpike Golf Course on July 30th. The Teal Cup is a yearly fundraiser that benefits the Ovarian Cancer Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the future of ovarian cancer with research leading to earlier detection and more effective treatments. Orange Motors of Albany, NY was the proud sponsor of the Hole in One this year.

First Hole in One Ever for Golfer and Dealer!

At this year’s Boys & Girls Club of Adams County Golf Tournament in Decatur, IN, Moser Motor Sales was very happy and excited to award their lucky winner, Brent Faurote, with a 2-year lease on a brand new Ford Escape. He was extremely happy with his stroke of luck – pun intended. “I’ve been playing for 15 years, but still have a pretty high handicap. This was actually my first hole in one ever!”

Winner asks, “What are the odds?” after he wins on the toughest hole of a familiar annual golf event!

The annual Spruce Lake Benefit Tournament in Telford, PA was sponsored this year by Bergey’s Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. While the day progressed routinely with many of the 150 players returning, 56-year-old Mark Rohrbach unknowingly made the day much more memorable with his hole in one win. “I had no idea it even went in,” Mark said as he spoke of the winning drive.

Winner calls his hole in one “Zero Skill, 100% Luck” We say, whatever it takes… a win is a win!

For the past six years, Stephen Harrison has played in the Laurence Woodmere Academy Golf Outing. Due to his longstanding attendance at the event, when the tournament came around this past May, he didn’t think much of it. Harrison has been golfing weekly for the past 14 years, but he does not consider himself a pro by any means. In fact, Harrison had been taking lessons to fine tune his game prior to the tournament.
