It is always a great day to golf, but when it is for good cause, it is even better. The day was sunny and warm, and Gleneagle Golf Club was in great shape for the Georgetown Harmony Homes Charity Outing. The charity provides affordable Christian home environments for adults experiencing developmental disabilities. Currently, they have two homes supporting twelve individuals.

Hole in One Defies the Odds
It was Rick Wakefield’s lucky day at the 25th Annual Jean Coutu Golf Tournament. The event took place at the beautiful Royal Oaks Golf Club in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. Wakefield mentions that it was extremely windy that day. “It was the kind of gusts that made the flag bend in the wind,” he recalls. Undoubtedly, even the most experienced golfer would second guess their club choice in these conditions.

‘Under the Weather’ Golfer Scores an Ace
The Kevin Millwood Celebrity Golf Tournament did not start out great for Henry Frey, but it ended with a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Despite a sunny sky and warm temperatures, Frey said he felt “under the weather” and almost did not play. He explains, “I forgot my clubs and had to turn around to go back home and get them.”
Rough Start Ends with an Ace Finish
This past summer, the Redford Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing was hosted at the Golden Fox Golf Course in Northville, Michigan. A local Northville resident, 22-year-old Mitchell Bell, was fortunate enough to be invited to this event by his grandfather, Thomas Bell. Mitchell was “just excited to spend the day with my grandfather.” He likely never imagined just how special it would turn out to be.
