This was a wonderful day golfing with family for a great cause and it just got better! It was towards the middle of the tournament and it was hole number 13 and the yardage was 187-yard par 3. Everyone had hit and it was Norms turn.

Sports Broadcaster Wins a Mustang at Social Distancing Golf Event
2020 has been a weird year to say the least. But Lewis Ford has always been a huge supporter in the community and they typically sponsor 15-20 golf tournaments a year, benefiting numerous local charities. So even in a trying year, they continue to support community events. Annually they sponsor Summer Swing. This year it was the Social Distance Summer Swing which was held on August 17, 2020 at Springdale Country Club.

The tournament was almost over and team 8 saved the best hole for last, it was hole number 7 and it was at 171 yards for a chance to win a 2-year lease on a Ford F-150! Tim MacTurk was the 2nd one in his foursome to hit. Tim said that he wasn’t having a good day with his irons and normally he would have used his 4 iron but decided to go with his 5 wood for the shot.
